슈웨이저교재 중 아래 질문드립니다. 1. 148쪽, 150쪽 내용 중 'open interest' If a trade is not an offsetting trade, then open interest increases by one contract. Exercising an option results in the open interest being reduced by one. 여기서 open interest의 뜻이 무엇인가요? 두번째 문장에서 reduced by one.이 '1'까지 감소한다는 뜻인지 어떤 의미인지 궁금합니다. 2. 163쪽 Impact of dividends on early exercise for American calls and put-call parity 배당이 있는 경우 S-X-D < C-P < S-XerT 로 나와있는데, lower bound의 경우 D가 포함되어 있는데, upper bound에는 D가 없습니다. S대신 (S-D)가 되어야 하는게 아닌가요? 3. 164쪽 KEY CONCETPS 중 LO 42.4 관련 Call options are always worth more than corresponding put options prior to expiration when both are at the money. 왜 이렇게 되는건지 이 문장이 이해가 되지 않습니다. 본문에는 별도 설명이 없었던 것 같은데 key concepts에는 나와있어서... 추가 설명 부탁드리겠습니다. 4. 185쪽 Gap options Gap Call Option에서 Negative payoff가 발생하는 경우를 설명할 때, stock price is great than X2, X2 is less than X1인 경우, the payoff will be reduced by X2-X1 이라고 되어있고, Gap Put Option에서 Negative payoff가 발생하는 경우를 설명할 때도, stock price is less than X2, X2 is greater than X1인 경우, the payoff will be reduced by X2-X1 이라고 되어있는데요. 공통적으로 나오는 "reduced by X2-X1"의 의미가 궁금합니다. 5. 186쪽 Compound options 관련 설명 위에서 두번째 문단 The first strike price and exercise date are used by the holder to evaluate whether to exercise the first option to receive the second option, where the second options is an option on the underlying asset, or just let the compound option expire. Call on Call 상품에서, 위의 설명에 나온 first option과 second option이 각각 어떤 걸 가리키나요? 바로 밑 문장에 Call on Call would be exercised if the price of the call on the underlying for the second call option were greater than the strike price of the initial option. 여기서는 initial option과 second option개념이 나오는데, initial option이 위의 first option을 가리키는 건지요? 감사합니다. |
